Privacy Policy

The Gita Way

Your privacy is paramount to us at The Gita Way. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application and public website.

1. No Personal Data Collection

The Gita Way is designed to be a free spiritual utility. We do not require account creation, registration, or login to read or listen to the Bhagavad Gita. Consequently, we do not collect, capture, or store personal identity data (such as your name, email, phone number, or physical address) during regular app usage.

2. Local Storage

To personalize your reading experience, features like Bookmarks, Favorites, Reading Progress, and Personal Notes are saved locally on your device's internal storage. This data remains on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. Deleting the application will remove this local data.

3. Media and Network Access

The app requires an active internet connection to download and stream audio recitations of the verses. We do not track which specific audios you play, nor do we access any private files or media libraries on your device.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

We may use anonymized third-party services (such as Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics) to monitor app performance, identify bugs, and improve reliability. These services do not collect personal data; they only log anonymous technical data (e.g., device model, operating system version, and crash logs).

5. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app's features. All updates will be posted here.
If you have any questions or feedback regarding privacy, please contact us at support@gitaverse.app.
